The official winner of the Geospatial Challenge 2012 is announced by Intergraph and DigitalGlobe. Priyanka Mehta and Allison Howard are selected as winner among 115 contestants. The famous photogrammetry software manufacturer Intergraph’s ERDAS IMAGINE provides advanced image classification algorithms like Spectral Angle, Spectral Correlation, Subpixel Classification and Object Oriented Image Analysis. The purpose of this Geospatial Challenge was to get attention of geospatial community by spreading the massage about the flexibility of ERDAS IMAGINE to exploit DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-2 imagery.
