NAVTEQ maps have joined with Audi and three leading U.S. universities in the Audi Urban Intelligent Assist project. Navteq is one of the leading service providers of traffic, maps and location-based services, location data enabling navigation and mobile advertising around the whole world. The aim of this research project is to improve road safety during driving and make driving hassle free. The universities will be work in this research and development project with NAVTEQ’s supplied Map data.
