Blue Marble Geographics has announced desktop GIS software Global Mapper version 14.2 with major improvements include several scripting updates. It also has improved import and export options as well as support for exporting point clouds to DXF and DWG format files and introduces support for the new MrSID format files and exporting XYZI (XYZ + Intensity) files, typically from LiDAR data.
