NASA’s Earth Observatory has published aerial images of Sandy to understand its power before and after the disaster. A set of aerial photos of Hurricane Sandy are available here to understand the strength of the disaster.
The first image was taken at 2:14 a.m. ET Aug. 31. The second, with clouds still present from Sandy, was taken at 2:52 a.m. ET, Nov. 1.
