A high resolutions digital aerial photogrammetry camera manufactured and DALSA announced for shipment of the image sensors that will power the newest models UltraCam line of aerial photogrammetry cameras by Microsoft's photogrammetry business. With 196 Megapixel resolution 17,310x11,310 pixels, the new UltraCamXp and UltraCamXp Wide Angle use multiple DALSA CCD image sensors to provide detailed Arial imagery that feeds applications such as Microsoft Bing Maps. The resolution and footprint of the new UltraCams allows for high-quality urban maps with fewer flight lines, saving time and lowering cost.
